COVID-19: what you should know before your appointment
Sue and Rebecca have missed all of you so much, and we look forward to seeing you again beginning June 1, 2020. We want to thank you all for your patience with the new guidelines we have set in place. We are committed to
keeping all of you safe, and in order to do so we have taken our lead from the CDC, the ABMP massage organization and Governor Walz. Based on these things, the following is what we are doing, and what we kindly ask you to do,
to make Tranquility...for you Massage Therapy a safe place for everyone. Thank you!
keeping all of you safe, and in order to do so we have taken our lead from the CDC, the ABMP massage organization and Governor Walz. Based on these things, the following is what we are doing, and what we kindly ask you to do,
to make Tranquility...for you Massage Therapy a safe place for everyone. Thank you!
What we are doing:
- We have ordered extra hand sanitizer (approved by CDC) to use before and during each session, in addition to our already stringent hand hygiene routines.
- We have medical grade table coverings will be sanitized with CDC-approved sanitizing wipes for under each new set of washed and sanitized table sheets, as well as a fresh blanket for each client.
- We will be adjusting appointment times to ensure there is ample time to do additional cleaning and sanitizing between clients; as well as to avoid client crossover in the doorway or reception area.
- We have touchless thermometers to screen each client before each session.
- We have purchased disposable masks for clients who may forget their own. We ourselves will be using a clean cloth mask before each client so the used ones can be washed and sanitized. Masks will be worn by clients and therapists throughout each entire visit.
What we kindly ask you to do (please and thank you):
- Please bring and wear your own mask, if you have one, to each appointment you have scheduled. If you do not have one or you forget yours, we will provide one for you.
- Please cancel your appointment if you have cough, fever or any other symptoms associated with COVID-19.
- Do not bring any additional people with you to your appointment. If a minor is scheduled, please have just one parent accompany them.
- When you arrive for your appointment, please wait in your car, or outside; and if possible, text or call your therapist when you arrive (Sue 612-735-4743, Rebecca 651-334-4452). We will check out the client before you and send them to their car; and then do a full cleaning and sanitizing of our treatment room. We will then greet you at the door to let you in.
- If safe and possible to do so, please leave most of your belongings at home or in the car.
- We ask you to please wash and/or sanitize your hands upon arrival as well.
At the bottom of this page, as well as on our New Clients page, we have included an additional form that we ask you to complete prior to your next visit with us. You may fill it out in the office, or you may print it and bring it with you to your next appointment already completed, whichever you prefer.
As always, the health and safety of our clients is of the utmost importance to us, and we thank you again for your patience with the new adjustments we have had to make to provide the best service to each of you.
With love and blessings,
Rebecca Gislason, (651) 334-4452 ~ Sue Glover, (612) 735-4743 ~ Office, (651) 686-5671
